Gloom And Doom

If you are used to stunning Fall weather in Georgia, today is nothing but gloom and doom.

Kent says it's perfect Seattle weather. Dexter says it's perfect frisbee weather.

I say it's perfect crafting weather.  I have a stockpile of material and I am trying to get some sewing projects done. This also justifies the mess in the dining room.

One little project a day is my goal. Today's was cutting out the fabric to recover my living room pillows.  I had a slight delay, otherwise I would have finished them, I am sure.

I don't know why they must lay on my fabric.

Jill and Jim came to visit today. (Thank you!) They and some other neighbors are planning a platelete donating trip on the first. That's my LP day. Yuck.

Clinic tomorrow was supposed to be at 8 am, but they called and asked me to change it to 1pm so someone can get their chemo. How could I refuse? I shouldn't need anything, so I am expecting a short one. But I am afraid it will put me and Dave in evening traffic. Bummer.

At least the weather cleared up by sunset.

Good night!
