Drama?!

What did I say? I said NO DRAMA! Now who didn't listen?

Before I was diagnosed, we were a foster home for Sheltie Rescue of GA. Since 2002, have fostered too many dogs to count. (200?) Some have been great, some have been little devils. We love them all and overlook the chewed furniture legs, broken blinds, chewed comforters, etc.

The comforter.... I had pinned up hole in my comforter for a while. Yesterday I sewed up said corner of my real down comforter. Now it's nice and tidy and I was happy.

And then today....

The opposite corner burst open and feathers went flying. Since there are no foster dogs here, I can only assume I mended the other corner too tightly and created a high pressure situation. (There is no way *my* precious angels created this drama, right?)

Who? Us? We are too busy playing...

Other crafty news was a card stock project. Kinda cute! (Yes, I cleaned up the excess glue...)

I am thrilled to announce the arrival of the monarch butterflies! These have a lifespan of 6 weeks and will make the Southern migration.

I am super happy. Kent is cutting a straight line for me. That means sewing up pillows tomorrow!

All else is good.  Strong and active. Don't worry about me!
