Now, I am hooked up to my purse 24/7 so I have to carry the bag and hose hooked to my arm and keep all that dry. But I figured it out. I am showering like the dogs with a hose. Point and shoot.
While I am waiting, my driver, Bev, is donating platelets! (Thanks!) She ran into Mark and Joan donating too. Super cool! (And thank you two!). I wonder if this time they take 4 units from Mark and 3 from Joan. It seems the more you give, the more platelets you make. Normal range is 150 to 450.
My blood chemistry shows my creatinine slightly up at 1.3 so I got a bag of fluids. My platelets are 22. They give an infusion at 20, so I have to come back tomorrow. I asked if we could do it today, but no... Oh well. Had to ask. It's their world,I just lived. It.
For a while, I had all 3 lines in use: blood, fluids, and antibiotics. All hooked up and no placeto go.
The good thing about today is I had the nurse do my Neupogen injection in my arm. And I didn't have to watch!
So, my last labs showed my at ANC 0.0: Rock bottom. Today I was back at .1 on the way to 1.5. Who- hoo! Recovering!
I suspect then I will get another round of chemo. But who knows. We play this game one day at a time based on the blood numbers.
Here's to good numbers!
