Blood numbers are continuing to fall, as expected. WBC .1 and ANC is 0. That pretty much means no visitors until I am safe. Bummer. And no going out: no shopping, no crowds, no restaurants, no fun. It's like being out of town on a trip, but I can cook at home.
Today I got a bag of fluids and a bag of platelets. They also typed and matched my blood in case I need a bag on Monday. Yay! Thinking ahead. Maybe that will be a short visit.
As usual, my diet remains the same: only well cooked food. Select fruits and veggies as long as they are neutropenic approved. I still won't touch a salad, but make cooked veggies. I miss salads.
Kent got clarification from Dr. Morris about take out. He was afraid a worker might sneeze on my food and make me sick. The doc explained a virus has to be inhaled by me to receive it. So maybe I can eat the next leftover fajitas that make it into the house. If they make it to the house. I will have to deal with pasteurized jarred salsa. Bummer.
I am proud to announce my hands didn't shake at all today for my injection.
All in all, a pretty good day for me!
