At 8 the doc came in for rounds. I was still asleep. He said all is progressing well and left.
At that point, I was up and agitated and tossed my cookies. That was a first since I had been here. I called the nurse and got a very small dose of anti nausea meds and went back to sleep for about an hour.
When I woke, Kent was gone and my breakfast was cold. But I nibbled on it and tried to get going with the day. After I ate, I got up and walked a mile, then back to bed.
More napping, then lunch and walking.
And that brings me to dinner. Right now I feel like I have had adequate sleep, food and exercise. One more mile and dinner to go. Then another night of fireworks out the window.
The labs are still looking good, and I have been taken off glucose monitoring. Still off iv fluids too which helps me a lot. I have not needed a dose of platelets or blood in a few days. Thats nice.
And now as I get ready for bed and fireworks, I show my last logged walk for the day.
All is well here. Good spirits and strong again.
And last but not least...
I had a amazing 15 minutes of fireworks out the window.
I didn't get the photo of the smiley face, but got a nice finale!
Happy big birthday weekend, America !
