Good Clinic Day

Poor Dave. He is on a trip to St. Maartin. Last time he was there he couldn't fully enjoy it because it was June 2014 and worried because I was sick. This time he caught the Norwalk virus. Poor guy. Now he knows what chemo sickness is like. There is a doc on duty attending to him. Hopefully he will get better soon.

Mom got the garden planted today. All except the Sweet 100 tomatoes. I bought a seed packet. There were no seeds in it.  Seriously? And, it was the last one. I should have bought the grape tomatoes.

Clinic was good. Both red blood cells and plateletes were up. White blood cells are hanging in there.  My CRE was 1.4, but should be coming down now that I am off prograf. Magnesium is up so we suspended the supplements.  So now all I take is one Acyclovir (400mg) twice a day, with no food or drink restrictions.  Cool.  That will be for a whole year from now. Best news is I don't have to be back until the 15th. At that point we will do all the restaging, and another pentamidine treatment. ThT may be the last if the restaging shows my immune system is stronger.

Kent has a Chip on his shoulder.

Happy thought:
