It's a holiday weekend...

Or so I hear. Normally I would be working every weekend and holiday, so it is no different.

But today. Will try to celebrate and make it fun.

It is going to be a busy day with guests and a date night with Kent tonight. I have a great view in my room, and hope to get a glimpse of fireworks.

If there are no fireworks to be seen, there will be plenty on TV.

The two buildings out the window are office buildings known as the King and Queen towers. (The rooms on the back side of this building have a view of a brick wall... Again, I am a lucky girl!)

On the medical front, l am still doing well.  Last night I got a low dose of Lasix (diuretic).  They had me all puffed up with liquids and I felt so unbelievably bloated.  It's needed to help the kidneys recovery and push the bad cels through.  But since the kidneys are continuing to improve, I am off iv fluids and free to walk without an iv tree.  I love swinging my arms and "flying" through the halls.

So far my bun number was up slightly, but the cre was still down.  Noon labs came back stellar.

We will try to have some fun with the staff tonight.  Tomorrow will be another good day!
